Choosing an exchange · Lesson 1 of 3
How to choose an exchange
First check that the exchange is allowed in your country and that crypto use is legal where you live.
Then look at its security history, whether it publishes proof of reserves, how fast withdrawals are, and how easy it is to reach support.
Fees matter too, but a slightly cheaper exchange is not worth it if your money is less safe.
Key points
- Legal in your country first
- Security record and proof of reserves
- Fees matter less than safety
Education only, not financial advice. Crypto is risky — only use money you can afford to lose, and check it’s legal where you live.
