Trading foundations · Lesson 3 of 3
Risk management
Many traders risk only 1–2% of their account on a single trade. Ten losses in a row then still leave most of the account.
Decide your stop-loss before you enter, then size the position so hitting that stop costs only your planned amount.
Use low leverage, keep a trading journal, and never add money to a losing trade to 'win it back'.
Key points
- Risk 1–2% per trade
- Set the stop-loss before entering
- Low leverage, no revenge trading
Education only, not financial advice. Crypto is risky — only use money you can afford to lose, and check it’s legal where you live.
